Terms of Service

Last updated:

These terms govern your use of Rouleur, operated by Gruppo Media Limited (company number 8411318, registered in England and Wales). By using our website, subscribing to our magazine, or buying from our shop, you agree to these terms, conditions, and notices, without modification.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using our services you are agreeing to all of these terms. We may update them from time to time; the version published on this page applies to your use of the site.

2. Subscriptions

Placing and receiving your subscription

Once your application to subscribe has been accepted, we will aim to commence delivery of the magazine with the next available issue. We cannot guarantee delivery to shared mailboxes or buildings without concierge facilities. Please notify us within 30 days if an issue does not arrive and we will arrange a replacement copy.

Pricing, payment, and trials

Subscription fees are made clear to you on our sign-up pages and during checkout, and are charged in the currency applicable to your location. We may from time to time offer trials to new subscribers; no more than one trial per subscriber or household is allowed in any twelve-month period, and full fees apply after a trial ends.

Cancellation and refunds

You have the right to cancel your subscription, without giving any reason, at any point within the subscription period. If you cancel within the period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, less a pro-rated amount for each magazine you received before cancelling. You do not need to return any magazines already delivered.

Renewal

Unless you notify us before the end of your subscription period that you no longer wish to continue, your subscription will renew for another period. We will notify you in advance of any change to the price that will apply on renewal.

Your account and registration details

You must provide accurate, complete registration information — including your name, delivery and billing address, payment details, and email address — and keep it up to date. It is your responsibility to advise us of any changes.

Managing your subscription

Subscriptions are administered through Chargebee, our subscription and billing provider. You can view invoices, update payment details, and cancel or change your plan at any time from your account, or by emailing subscribers@rouleur.cc.

3. Shop orders

Ordering and acceptance

By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product, which we will accept to sell to you subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. We deem our acceptance of your offer to take place upon dispatch of the goods. We reserve the right to cancel any order up until the point of dispatch.

Cancellations, returns, and refunds

Under the United Kingdom’s distance-selling rules you have the right to cancel your order for any item, for a full refund. Order cancellations must be made in writing within 7 working days of the day after you receive the goods. In addition, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in its original condition within 30 days of receipt for a refund.

Delivery charges are only refundable if you cancel your entire order within the 7-day cooling-off period. You are responsible for the cost of returning an item to us after cancellation. Please tell us about any items missing from your parcel within 24 hours of delivery.

Pre-orders

Full payment for a pre-ordered item is taken at the time of order. All delivery dates are estimates and may occasionally be extended for reasons beyond our control. Where we cannot fulfil a pre-ordered item, we will refund all monies, including shipping costs, as soon as possible. You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time up until we dispatch the item. Images of pre-order items are usually taken from samples and are open to change in production.

You may store, view, and print content solely for your own personal use. 5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • commit or encourage a criminal offence;
  • send, receive, or distribute any material that is offensive, obscene, or unlawful;
  • transmit or distribute a virus or other malicious code;
  • hack into, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service;

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gruppo Media Limited disclaims all representations and warranties (express, implied, and statutory) relating to the services, and shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever — including direct, indirect, special, consequential, punitive, or incidental damages — arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

7. Governing law

These terms are construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
