1973 Merckx Signed Print – Horton Collection

Eddy Merckx

After a short bout of illness at the start of the 1973 season, Merckx returned with a vengeance - during a span of nineteen days, Merckx won Gent-Wevelgem, Amstel Gold, Liège–Bastogne–Liège, and Paris–Roubaix. His form continued and he went on to become the first rider to win the Giro and Vuelta in the same year, with only 4 days between the two races -  extraordinary, unrepeatable feats.
This limited edition series is set at 525 numbered lithographs to correspond with and celebrate Eddy Merckx's unprecedented 525 career victories. Each 20" x24" lithograph is printed on Utopia Silk 110 pound acid free archival quality stock using a Heidelberg press and has been personally signed by Eddy Merckx, coming with a certificate of authenticity from The Horton Collection.
