“In my mind, it is function in a tidy way, to make things as simplistic as possible, with nothing to disturb the function or the eye,” explains designer Fredrik Hallander. “The aesthetics come naturally.”

Founded in the world of ‘gravity sports,’ POC’s bold design can overshadow its core principle: to save lives and reduce the consequences of accidents for cyclists.

From ski helmets and googles, over a decade the company has evolved into a high-performance outfitter to road cyclists, culminating in a partnership with the Cannondale-Drapac team in 2017.
