Moved to a later date due to the 2024 Paris Olympics, the third edition of the Tour de France Femmes will this year take place from Monday August 12, 2024, until Sunday August 18, 2024. The eight-stage race will unfold across seven days, with stages two and three occuring on the same day.

Demi Vollering (SD Worx-Protime) will be lining up for the race’s Grand Départ in Rotterdam – the first foreign start for the Tour de France Femmes – and will be looking to defend her yellow jersey title. However, there will be plenty of other riders with their eyes on the maillot jaune as the seven-day race heads through the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Beyond the yellow jersey, the polka-dot, green and white jerseys are all up for grabs, as well as stage wins, so there are plenty of opportunities for all the riders to go for glory. This year’s race also concludes atop the famed Alpe d’Huez, and whoever wins this stage will write themselves into cycling history with some of the greats from the sport.

With so much to play for in this year's Tour de France Femmes, fans will not want to miss a moment of this nail-biting Grand Tour. Thankfully, there are plenty of places where you can watch every minute on a subscription, as well as free-to-air coverage.

Eurosport will also be hosting all eight stages of the Tour de France Femmes on Eurosport 1, as well as featuring its pre- and post-stage show, The Breakaway. This live streaming will only be watchable if it is part of your TV subscription and will still include ad breaks.

However, if you want to watch every stage ad-free, streaming platforms such as Discovery+ allow you to watch each pedal stroke uninterrupted. You’ll need the standard package to watch the Tour de France Femmes, which is £6.99 a month and offers the ability to stream on your mobile phone, tablet, computer, game console and connected TV. On Discovery+, you are also able to rewatch any of the stages as well as catch up by watching the platform's highlights and extended highlights. Top tip: You can get a Discovery Plus Standard pass for no extra cost if you are a Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream customer.

For Welsh fans, the Tour de France Femmes will be free to watch via the channel S4C, and for those living in Ireland, TG4 will be showing all stages of this year’s race.
