Desire: Colnago C64 Le Col Edition

When two become one. The anglo-latino collaboration of Colnago and Le Col that will quite literally have the heart racing

Colnago launched the C64 just before Valentine’s Day this year. No one at Rouleur was lucky enough to receive one as a gift from a significant other. A shared bottle of prosecco was as romantic as it got.

It seems fitting that the prettiest bike in the pro peloton should be unveiled around the feast of Saint Valentine, a celebration of love and affection. Colnago didn’t need a special date in the calendar to honour its relationship with British apparel brand, Le Col, but it has with the new C64 Le Col Edition frameset.

Comparable to the Le Col cycling kit, the C64 is handmade in Italy. After two years in development, the frame superseded the C60, which in itself was no ordinary “super bike”. Colnago made an elegant frame that was at the pinnacle of performance and improved on it.

The Colnago C64 Le Col Edition frame is painted in the clothing brand’s recognisable shades of blue and finished with gold detailing. It’ll be available in a range of 14 sizes – nine sloping and five high head stack versions – in both rim and disc brake options from the Le Col website imminently.

At prices from £4,499.95 for the frameset, it’s a little more expensive than a bottle of prosecco, but you can’t put a price on love.
