Desire: Canyon Aeroad SLX – Movistar edition

Canyon’s direct-to-consumer model brings pro-level bikes to the mortals. We got our hands on Movistar’s 2019 team issue Aeroad SLX for Desire.

We shot Canyon’s team-issue, premier aero road platform for issue 18.6 of Rouleur Desire. Movistar’s livery rocks the fade, features Campagnolo throughout and suitably pro-level stem length – what’s not to like?

Movistar doing the ‘fade’ very well indeed

A lovely touch on these Bora Ultra – Pantone matched decals

Ok, we know we’ve laid the bike down, but it is drive-side up

Canyon have specced Movistar’s bikes with their own one-piece integrated handlebars and equipment sponsor, Campagnolo, provide their brand new 12 speed Super Record groupset.

We’ve previously taken a look at Team Katusha’s bikes; Alex Dowsett’s Canyon Aeroad and Luca Paolini’s super-light Ultimate CF SLX
