As 2019 draws to a close, Rouleur photographers choose their personal favourite images of the past 12 months

Barcelona-based Paolo first shot for Rouleur back in issue 41 when he sent us his fabulous shots of Il Piratas, a Spanish para-cycling team of extraordinary men and women doing amazing things on bikes.

Since then, Paolo had become a Rouleur regular, shooting all over the world for the magazine – from South Africa to the Giro via quirkier races such as this year’s Island Games in Gibraltar.

Paolo’s work outside of Rouleur includes regular gigs for L’Eroica on the beautiful Tuscan strade bianche, and long-distance events in Mongolia and Patagonia, providing stunning canvasses for the photographer to weave his magic upon.

Here are Paolo’s favourite eight of the year.
