The Tour of Langkawi is a broiling furnace of searing heat and severe climbs.

 

Rouleur photographer Marshall Kappel travelled to Malaysia to capture the race as riders toiled in the in the hot, harsh tropical atmosphere.

 

His images, in Rouleur issue 17.1 on sale January 27, are accompanied by words from Rupert Guinness, a veteran reporter of over 25 Tours de France.
