Colnago confirmed for 1 Classic

Posted on

Colnago has become the latest marque to confirm its presence at the inaugural 1 Classic show.
The revered manufacturer will display a selection of desirable machines at the show, which will be held at Vinopolis, London Bridge, from November 19 to November 21, 2015.
Colnago’s flagship machines, the C60 and V1-r aero road bike, will feature among the selection to be shown by the Cambiago firm.
Italian brands will be strongly represented at the show, described by Gruppo Media MD Bruce Sandell as an opportunity for the publisher to “bring 1 to life”.
Campagnolo and Sarto will also exhibit, as will the show’s title sponsor, the luxury car brand, Maserati.
The three-day show will run in a series of sessions, allowing busy guests to ‘dip in’ to the experience. Vinopolis has been selected for its ambience, in what is described as an “intimately curated show.”
David Millar, a stage winner in all three Grand Tours, will be among a host of guests from professional cycling’s top tier. Millar, who retired at the close of last season, will also lead a ride from the Foxhills golf resort in Surrey on Tuesday September 15.
The ride, which will be limited to just 60 guests, will alternate with an opportunity to test drive the latest Maserati models on a 2.25-mile track at nearby Longcross.
A ‘Prologue’ evening to open the show in London will take place on Thursday November 19, 2015, and will feature the inaugural live presentation of the 1 Awards.
Guests attending on subsequent days can attend between 1.30pm and 5.30pm in what organisers are describing as a ‘matinee session’ or from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
The 1 Classic Theatre will host a series of Q&As with some of the leading figures in professional cycling, while the Maserati Lounge will provide a relaxed environment for guests to discuss potential purchases with some of the hand-picked exhibitors invited to the show.
Tickets are on sale now. Prices start at £50. For more information, visit 1classic.cc.
