In 1970, Eddy Merckx became the third cyclist to win the Tour-Giro double in one year at only 25; only Fausto Coppi and Jacques Anquetil had done it before. Merckx's dominance in 1970 was so great, that race director Félix Lévitan attempted to introduce changes in order to make the race more competitive.
This limited edition series is set at 525 numbered lithographs to correspond with and celebrate Eddy Merckx's unprecedented 525 career victories.
Each 20" x24" lithograph is printed on Utopia Silk 110 pound acid free archival quality stock using a Heidelberg press and has been personally signed by Eddy Merckx, coming with a certificate of authenticity from The Horton Collection.
The signings took place at the 2015 Rouleur Classic in London
