Rouleur Timekeeper's Pencil

£15.00

New to Rouleur is our mechanical clutch pencil made by Kaweco. The German based company has been making writing instruments since 1883 so it's safe to say they know what they're doing.

This pencil has something of a cult following (sound familiar) for those who have a passion for old fashioned scribing and appreciate a design classic. It's compact at just over 10cm in length, lightweight and slips easily into the pocket of a jersey. A fine travelling companion for making notes and lists: you could even mark up significant articles in your latest issue of Rouleur. All we need now is a Rouleur ruler (don't think it hasn't crossed our minds).

We celebrate the arrival of the Tour de France on British soil this July by looking at the three previous occasions the race has crossed the Channel, with three of this country’s finest protagonists: Barry Hoban on the disastrous ’74 visit to Plymouth; Chris Boardman smashing speed records in ’94; and Geraint Thomas, the youngest rider in the ’07 edition when millions of spectators packed the roadsides of London and Kent.
