Les P'tits Vélos

Janol Apin

The pictures collected in Janol Apin's book depict a quirky understanding of cycle racing and they are full of some delightfully romantic scenes. These metal model cyclists were popular toys for French youngsters during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, and many great riders, such as Bernard Hinault, recall them with fond memories. The collectable die-cast cyclists are still made in France by Fonderie Roger.

Sans Moi by Rouleur contributor Olaf Unverzart is an exquisite volume of breathtakingly beautiful landscape photography bound into a book of excellent craft and design.

The perfect garment for when you plan on catching up with the day's cycling action later in the evening. Ensure that your loose-lipped friends don't disclose the outcome of the day's stage.

The Froomey 2013 T-shirt, designed by Richard Mitchelson, is dark grey and the only branding on it is a discreet Rouleur printed (in light grey) on the left sleeve.

Issue 5 features two legends of American cycling - Andy Hampsten and Greg LeMond.
