Pantani: The Accidental Death of a Cyclist will be in cinemas soon and as the film’s media partner, Rouleur has a number of screenings to tell you about. Charting the tumultuous life and times of the late Italian star, the film uses archive and contemporary footage, stylised dramatic reconstructions and interviews with Pantani’s family, close friends, former teammates and peers.
Rouleur is running an exclusive screening on May 22 at the White Cloth Gallery in Leeds. Director James Erskine will be there to introduce his film and it will coincide with the launch of a Rouleur exhibition of the work of Bernard Thompson, with a focus on the likes of Yorkshire’s own great champion, the late Beryl Burton, and Thompson’s unique take on cycle racing in Britain.
Including a welcome drink and canapés, plus classical music from local group Catch 22, it's got all the ingredients for a great night out.
If you can't make the Leeds screening, then check for more listings.
